Job Title:                  SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR, Admissions & Data

                                      Term-time – 36 hours per week, 39.6 weeks per year

Reports to:            MIS Manager

Salary:                 Starting salary NJC scale 3, scale point 5.  £24,768 per annum.

                                     (FTE £28,521 per annum).

                                 Rising to NJC scale 3, scale point 6.  £25,122 per annum.

                                    (FTE £28,925 per annum).

Working Days:      5 days per week

Working Hours:   36 hours per week.  8.00am – 3.45pm (3.30pm on Friday), including  30 minute unpaid lunch break.  Term-time plus 5 INSET days and 5 days in August for public examinations results each year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a School Administrator to work as part of a small team, providing a professional and accurate administrative service supporting school admissions and the work of the school data team.   This is an important role to us, and plays a key role in providing timely and effective support to the school admissions process and data provision.   As well as leading on schools admissions, the postholder will provide support to the school data team on a range of other projects. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate strong administrative experience, coupled with confidence in interacting with stakeholders both on the telephone and in written communication.  Working alongside the MIS and Data Managers, this is an ideal opportunity for an accountable. experienced, cooperative and proactive person who is equally happy working within a team and independently.  Previous experience of working in a school environment and school admissions is desirable but not essential.

Vyners is a very popular and oversubscribed mixed eight form entry, 11-18 comprehensive school, situated in a pleasant residential area in North West London, bordering Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.    We have a track record of real success at all Key Stages.  We are well known for high academic standards, good behaviour, and our strong community spirit including a strong house system with students leading their peers.  “Pupils have a positive attitude towards their work and enjoy learning” (Ofsted 2019).  Many students are involved in extracurricular sport, music and drama, performing at a high level including prestigious public events and performing in our own school productions.
