TREVOR JAGGAR

Trevor Jaggar was the first Headteacher of Vyners School when it opened in 1960. His commitment to the education of all students over the years and encouragement of excellence is evident in his ongoing connection with the school for over 60 years until he sadly passed away in 2020.

When the school expanded again in 2019 to include eight forms of entry, the students voted to select two new Houses to represent the Vyners ethos. The names chosen were Jaggar, after former Headteacher Trevor Jaggar, and Parks, after social justice activist Rosa Parks.
